Delete your Ivy homes account

How to ask

In the app

1. Open the Ivy homes app and sign in.
2. Tap your initials at the top right to open Profile.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then Delete.

Without the app

Email reach@ivy.homes with the subject "Delete my Ivy homes account" and the mobile number on your account, or call +91 89519 84932, 9 AM to 8 PM.

We may call you on that number to confirm the request is yours. Your account is deleted within 48 hours of confirming, and we tell you when it is done.

What we delete

• Your account: your mobile number, name, email address and Google profile photo.
• The homes you saved, and the alerts and notification settings you set.
• The notification tokens for your phones.
• Your flat's details from offers you asked for.
• Documents you uploaded for a purchase or sale that did not go ahead.
• Your name, number and email on our records of your visits and enquiries.

What we keep, and for how long

The law requires us to keep some records after your account is deleted:

• Records of payments you made: the amount, date and payment reference.
• Records of a purchase or sale that went ahead: the agreements, and the documents and identity details the deal needed.
• A record that you accepted our terms, and which version.

We keep these for up to 8 years from the payment or the end of the deal, as Indian tax, company and anti-money-laundering law requires, then delete them. They are used only to meet those laws and to settle any dispute.

Cashfree, which handles card, UPI and bank payments, keeps its own records under its own policy.
